Entrances and exits are often places were information is conveyed: from name tags on office doors to instructions for use, such as “Push” and “Pull”.
SIGN makes use of porcelain as a material that can be colored and decorated easily and in a long-lasting way, turning the door handle and knob into means of communication.

SIGN is a contribution to “Enter Porcelain”, a project by Kober, a German specialist for technical porcelain, and Olivari, an Italian producer of high-quality door handles. The two companies got together with 11 design studios to develop new concepts for porcelain handles. The collaboration was exhibited at Palazzo Litta during Milan Design Week 2019.
